Accessing the Great Chinese Dictionary and Kangxi Dictionary


Please complete the following steps to access the full content of the Dictionary:

  1. Open the Dictionary’s homepage at the following link: CNKI Dictionary Homepage

  2. Click on the link at the top right of the page: "CNKI (China National Knowledge"

  3. This will pull up the CKNI main page where you will be authenticated. You should see "Welcome from the University of Alberta , personal account" at the top of the page.

  4. Close out this page.


  5. Return to the Dictionary’s homepage, refresh the page, and you will see that the "Login" link has now been replaced with "intalberta" and full access to the content is now available.
